BULLHEAD CITY – Two men, brothers age 39 and 45, drove to the Bullhead City Fire Station on Hancock Road with gunshot wounds Sunday evening, May 3. MOHAVE VALLEY – A hatchet murder is under investigation in Mohave Valley. Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded at 9:11 p.m. Thursday, May 7 to a report of a hatchet assault at a residence in the 1200 block of Vacation Dr. Agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said Nicholas Umphress, 33, was detained as he approached arriving deputies.
