Thank you for reading The Standard newspaper online!

June Greetings from Lydia Henry, The Mohave County Recorder!

As we make our way into June, we’re pleased to share some updates from the Recorder’s Office and important election information.

The Recording Division continues to work diligently in providing accessibility to public records by manually indexing all documents. Our office recently implemented a verifying process to further ensure accuracy of indexes and improve retrievability of recorded documents. Residents can view, download, and print recorded documents through our online Recorded Document Search at eaglerss.mohave.gov/web/user/disclaimer.

Our Recorded Document Alert System recently marked its two-year anniversary! This system allows residents to receive email notifications when a document is recorded with their name or associated with their property. You can sign up for this free alert system at eaglerss.mohave.gov/web/fraudGuard/disclaimerPage.

The Recorder’s Office continues to prioritize the residents of Mohave County through community outreach. We would like to encourage Veterans to take advantage of DD214 recording as this is a free service we provide to ensure safekeeping. Contact the Recorder’s Office at 928-753-0701 or RecorderHelp@mohave.gov.

Voter Registration

The Voter Registration division is gearing up and excited for the election season!

As we enter June, the Voter Registration Division is in full- election mode! The Voter Registration deadline is June 22, so any voters who still need to update their information for the upcoming Primary Election will need to reach out to the office asap!

June 24 marks the first day of early voting and kicks off the Primary Election this year! With a fully staffed office, and the dedicated temporary early voting workers, the voter registration team predicts a successful election this month!

Although the election is the main priority, our goal to keep the voter rolls clean remains, and we continue to work on ensuring our voter registration files remain current.

During June and July, it is crucial that if you receive a piece of mail from our office that is not addressed to a member of your household, or is addressed to someone who has passed away, remember to write “Return to Sender” and place it back in your mailbox. This will inform us of any voter movement and can help keep Mohave County’s voter rolls clean! We also want to remind you that our office will be sending out ballots on a continual basis for the last half of June and into July, and that returning election mail to our office helps everyone in the county!

If voters are unsure of the status of their voter registration, early ballot, or polling location, always visit my.arizona.vote. This is a great resource for those that want a fast and convenient way to check their Voter Registration status. Alternatively you can contact Voter Registration at 928-753-0767 or voterregistration@mohave.gov
