PHOENIX – Members of the Mohave College All-Arizona Academic Team were honored at a statewide ceremony in Phoenix on April 22, where they received team medals and certificates recognizing their academic achievement.
LAKE HAVASU CITY – At approximately 11:28 a.m. on Sunday, April 19, a fire was reported in the 900 block of Paso Drive. A neighbor observed smoke coming from the residence and called 911.
CHLORIDE – Chloride will host their annual All Town Yard Sale on Saturday, May 2 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come to Chloride in time for the bake sale at 9 a.m. in front of the Old Fire Station. KINGMAN – Kingman Fire Department (KFD) responded to a detached garage fire on Wednesday, April 22 at around 2 a.m. The fire in the 1600 block of Franklin Dr., was fully involved when KFD personnel arrived. There were no occupants inside the detached garage, and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
