Drunk driver released with time served

BULLHEAD CITY – A Bullhead City woman was released from the Mohave County Jail following imposition of sentence in an impaired driving incident that included a crash and a scuffle with police officers. Mohave County Superior Court Judge Rick Lambert on August 12 imposed an 83-day jail sentence for Cali Samson, 21, and credited her for the same number of days spent in custody. Public input sought on Willow Beach improvements

BOULDER CITY  – The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking public comments on the development of an environmental assessment to improve portions of Willow Beach Road.  The NPS, in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration, is proposing to repair the deteriorated roadway. Aggravated assault, other charges dismissed in Ziilch plea deal

KINGMAN – A Bullhead City man charged in an episode of violence evades a possible prison sentence under terms of a plea agreement entered in Mohave County Superior Court on August 13. Terms of the deal require Judge Rick Lambert to place Tyler Ziilch, 38, on probation at a September 9 sentencing hearing. Judge Lambert also has discretion to order up to a year in the county jail and up to $20,000 in restitution. Multiple drug arrests results in 10-year prison plea deal

BULLHEAD CITY – A Bullhead City man complained of unfair treatment, but nonetheless encouraged a judge in Kingman to approve the plea agreement that sends him to the Arizona Department of Corrections for a decade. The ten-year prison term is mandated in the plea deal convicting Kevin Goc, 51, of two counts of attempted possession of dangerous drugs for sale. BULLHEAD CITY – The Cost-of-Living Index (COLI) Annual Average Data report for the second quarter of 2019 was just released and Bullhead City is once again the most affordable city in Arizona and one of the most affordable cities in the nation.
