Lions Club hosts Yes for Kingman Schools Committee Chairman

KINGMAN – The public is invited to the Kingman Mohave Lions Club meeting Thursday October 10, at noon with guest speaker Gary Waters, Committee Chairman of Yes for Kingman Schools and advocate for the school bond.

Waters will be speaking about the upcoming Kingman Unified School District Bond vote, including why he believes the bond should be supported, and what a yes vote will accomplish for KUSD and its students, teachers and staff. He will address the cost verses the extreme benefit which he believes will result from the bond’s passage.

The Lions Club meetings are held Thursdays at noon at Calico’s Restaurant, 418 West Beale St. There is no admission charge to attend the meetings and no reservations are needed.
