BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – Trial has begun for the last of three defendants charged in a Bullhead City methamphetamine seizure. Holly Haworth, 46, Fort Mohave, is charged with possession of dangerous drugs for sale, transportation of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bullhead City police investigating drug sales activity stopped two vehicles traveling in tandem on Oct. 30, 2025. It was believed occupants of the BMW and Chevrolet Silverado were returning to Bullhead City after picking up drugs in Las Vegas.
April Jacobs, 38, Dolan Springs, and Dara Tristan, 47, Fort Mohave, were arrested along with Haworth when officers seized 3.5 pounds of methamphetamine. Tristan was placed on probation while Jacobs is serving a 2.5-year prison term for their roles in the case.
Defense attorney Greg McPhillips urged the jury to question which defendants were involved in importation and sale of illegal drugs during his opening statement on Sept. 1.
“You will find that Holly Haworth was merely present,” McPhillips told jurors. “You will find that Holly Haworth did not intend to sell methamphetamine and that she did not intend to import methamphetamine.”
