LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. – A Lake Havasu City woman has entered a plea agreement to resolve her revenge pornography criminal case. Mikaela Waninger, 42, will be convicted of unlawful distribution of images.
Waninger admits posting a nude image of another woman on social media, along with a “Do not trust this person” caption. Waninger admitted downloading the images from her ex-boyfriend’s device, and that she was mad at him when she posted the material on June 30.
Terms of the deal require Judge Ryan Esplin to place Waninger on supervised probation, but he can also order her to spend up to one year in the county jail.
