KINGMAN – A man who drew police gunfire that injured no one after stealing a vehicle from a Mohave County property in Kingman is going to the Arizona Department of Corrections for 12.5 years. The punishment for Michael Lapeer, 26, Kingman is mandated in a plea agreement that also resolves probation violations. MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Sunday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of 30 new COVID-19 positive confirmed cases and one death. Nineteen of the cases are in the Bullhead City service area; 9 are in the Kingman service area; two are in the Lake Havasu City service area. LAKE HAVASU CITY – As the City works towards bringing reclaimed water to the London Bridge Beach Park for irrigation purposes, there will be a need to perform a two-day closure on consecutive days to allow for pipe installation across the western entrance of the London Bridge Beach access road for seamless pipe installation to occur.
