MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Monday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of 70 new confirmed COVID-19 cases.
There are also five deaths from previously reported cases. Three are from the Lake Havasu City service area. One was in the 50-59 year age range; one was 60-69; one was 80-89. The other two deaths are both in the Kingman service area. One was 40-49 and the other was 80-89.
Of the 70 new cases, 45 are in the Bullhead City service area. There are 15 cases in the Lake Havasu City service area. There are 6 cases in the North County service area. The Kingman service area has four confirmed cases.
Of the 45 Bullhead City area cases, 39 remain under investigation. Two are 0-10; three are 11-19; one is 20-29; eleven are 30-39; four are 40-49; five are 50-59; nine are 60-69; four are 70-79. Five of the Bullhead City area cases are recovering at home and are linked to another case. Three of those are 0-10 and two are 40-49. The final Bullhead City area case is hospitalized, a 40-49 person and the case is under investigation.
Of the 15 cases in the Lake Havasu City area, all of them remain under investigation. Two are 11-19; one is 20-29; three are 30-39; four are 40-49; one is 50-59; three are 60-69; one is 70-79.
Of the 6 confirmed cases in the North County area, all remain under investigation. One is 11-19; four are 20-29; one is 40-49.
The four cases in the Kingman area are all recovering at home and are linked to another confirmed case. One is 11-19; one is 40-49; one is 50-59; one is 70-79.
There are now1,288 positive cases in Bullhead City, including 58 deaths.
There are now 904 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, including 24 deaths.
There are 537 in Kingman, with a total of 50 deaths.
There are 56 cases in “North County,” formerly referred to as “Other” (composed of a number of smaller Mohave County communities,)
There are a total of 132 deaths in the county from the disease.
Total positive cases, 2,785.
The Mohave County Department of Health does not report “probable” cases, only “confirmed” cases of COVID-19.
As of Monday, the MCDPH is reporting a total of 962 RECOVERED CASES in the county.
The average age of all Mohave County positive cases is now 48.5 years old.
The average age of deaths from COVID-19 in Mohave County is now 77.4.
