Gosar hypocritical?

Dear Editor, Unfortunately, Kingman Mayor Jen Miles apparently did not do her homework. Otherwise she would not have said what she did about Congressman Gosar’s “continued support” for federal funding of the Kingman Municipal Airport, December 15th edition of The Standard. If she had, she might understand that while Gosar may support the plan, he certainly did not vote for the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, which supplied the funds. Be that as it may, while Mr. Gosar did not vote for the plan it seems he doesn’t mind accepting the credit for its benefits to the airport. Does…

The JAVC going into 2022

Dear Editor, Did 2021 just fly by? Seems like. We now enter the land of diet food and exercise equipment. Just a suggestion: don’t overdo it and get your doctor to approve. Just a quick look bac on 2021. It seems impossible but COVID-19 is still hanging in. We lost some good friends and I especially miss Chaplain Paul Pitts. He was there when I didn’t think I needed him, but I did. A reminder for all of us: don’t be the toughie; ask for help before the situation gets out of hand. As we move into January, it looks…

Response to Lloyd Dickson’s letter of Dec. 15

Dear Editor, Hey Lloyd, once again you addressed my comments with typical liberal rhetoric instead of addressing my issues. And, just like your friends in the liberal media, you interpret my responses and then regurgitate them to support your myopic view of conservatives. I never said or indicated in any way that “well-offs” shouldn’t pay their fair share. I said (in essence) that anyone who thought that only the “well-off’s” are going to get stuck with the bill needs to renew their subscription to “Fairies Live Among Us” magazine. Regarding the Patriot Act, if there’s a provision contained within it…
