SBDC creating small business growth

Dear Editor,

This year with the help of our partners, MCC Small Business Development Center (SBDC) assisted more than 160 clients, created 69 new jobs and helped retain 30 existing jobs. We raised more than $5.9 million in new capital for new business startups and business expansions; assisting clients in starting 40 new businesses and helping to increase small business revenues by more than $1.7 million. From Colorado City to Lake Havasu City and in between, we could not have made these economic development contributions in Mohave County, AZ without our partners.

So cheers to you along with a big thank you!

We look forward to another productive year in 2022 working alongside our partners to support small business growth. Wishing you and yours a holiday season filled with delights, and best wishes for a productive and healthy year in 2022.

Jeanette Pigeon Director, MCC SBDC
