Student backpack drive was a success!

Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor,

The Kingman Area Food Bank provided 50 backpacks to middle school and high school students. We know our client families face many challenges and that helping them with school supplies would be a great benefit. A recent article discussed the challenges parents face. Every backpack represents one less thing for a parent to worry about as the school year begins.

Thank you to everyone who donated. Your generosity made a real difference for local families this year. A special thank you to Medusa Farms, for its generous support of this project and many other Food Bank projects.
