Kingman Republican Women to hear from Barber, Marsh

KINGMAN – The Kingman Republican Women  (KRW) will host candidates James Dean Barber and Logan Marsh for their February meeting. James Barber (R-Mohave County) is running for Mohave County School Superintendent and Logan Marsh (R-Kingman) is running for District 4 County Supervisor.  KRW will meet on Monday, February 5 at 1 p.m. at the College Park Church, 1990 E. Jagerson Ave. The doors open at 12:30 p.m. and the meeting starts promptly at 1 p.m.  There will be a $3 admission fee to help cover the cost of the meeting room.

Woman killed by fleeing suspect

KINGMAN – A Kingman woman was killed Friday, Jan. 26 when the vehicle she was operating was struck by another vehicle that was reportedly fleeing pursuing law enforcement officers. The Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) said Sarah Bingham, 21, was fatally injured in the collision at the intersection of North Bank St. and Northern Ave. The suspect later identified as Juan Ortiz, 44, was taken into custody.
