LAKE HAVASU CITY – The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Arizona Fire District Fire Crews plan to conduct prescribed fire burning operations at two Lake Havasu National Wildlife Refuge units during the months of January or February. Castle Rock unit, a large cattail marsh totaling approximately 588 acres, will be burned just south of Blankenship Bend and 2-miles west of Lake Havasu Airport. BWR Bridge unit, another large cattail marsh totaling approximately 86 acres, will be burned adjacent to the Bill Williams River Bridge at Highway 95. The Havasu Community Health Foundation provides many services for physical and mental health to the community.   The organization has regular programs for the public such as their heart society, food bank, low-cost lab screenings, and much more. BULLHEAD CITY – The City of Bullhead City in sponsorship with Nevada State Recycling and Mohave Shred will be hosting a community wide electronic waste and paper shred event on Saturday, January 6, from 8 a.m. until noon. The event will be held in the Bullhead City Justice parking lot at 1255 Marina Blvd.  Residents from the surrounding communities are invited to bring their items to the event.   Nevada State Recycling will accept the electronic items listed below for free during the event.  Hard drives will be removed and destroyed from phones and computers.   Electronic Items to Bring; All appliances, adaptors, chargers, CD,…
