Naked Marines arrested under London Bridge

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Young male Marines were arrested last weekend after fully undressing to leap from the London Bridge into the water at Lake Havasu. Police responded about 3:30 a.m. Saturday after a reporting party advised two naked men had been outside Kokomos at the Bridgewater channel before they ran toward the bridge. A security officer corroborated the civilian report when officers arrived. Westbound lane restrictions on Interstate 40 near Seligman and Anvil Rock Road through mid-July

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for westbound lane restrictions on Interstate 40 near Seligman between mileposts 123 and 108 through mid-July. Drivers should plan for the following restrictions to be in place: One lane of traffic will be maintained on westbound I- 40 at all times. Law enforcement may be on site to assist with traffic control.  Eastbound I-40 will have intermittent left-lane closures along the project route for construction vehicle access. BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City is seeking applications from residents interested in serving on the Bullhead Area Transit System Commission (“BATS”). The BATS Commission makes recommendations to the Bullhead City Council regarding the development and maintenance of a public transportation system for the city.  The BATS Commission meets quarterly on the first Monday of February, May, August, and November; and holds special meetings as required. Prison ordered for sex offense, burglary

BULLHEAD CITY – A 12.5-year prison term was ordered Friday for a Bullhead City man who had sex with a Kingman teenager while on probation for another criminal offense. Christopher Emery, 20, was sentenced by Mohave County Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle. Bullhead City police said Emery and an accomplice were inside a vehicle they broke into last June when confronted and detained following a chase by residents in the 3400 block of McCormick Boulevard. Funding for Rancho Santa Fe interchange project changes

KINGMAN – The formula for funding Kingman’s Interstate 40 Rancho Santa Fe interchange project has evolved. Two of the three funding sources remain the same, but the third has changed according to Mayor Jen Miles, City Manager Ron Foggin and city spokeswoman Colleen Haines. $20 million from the state remains available for the next four years and the city is committed to providing several million dollars more.
