Westbound lane restrictions on Interstate 40 near Seligman and Anvil Rock Road through mid-July

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for westbound lane restrictions on Interstate 40 near Seligman between mileposts 123 and 108 through mid-July.

Drivers should plan for the following restrictions to be in place:

  • One lane of traffic will be maintained on westbound I- 40 at all times.
  • Law enforcement may be on site to assist with traffic control.
  • Eastbound I-40 will have intermittent left-lane closures along the project route for construction vehicle access.

ADOT is working on a project to improve roadway safety and pavement conditions. The project includes reconstructing sections of the roadway, milling and replacing pavement, removal and replacement of existing guardrail and applying a fog-seal coat.

Drivers are asked to obey traffic control devices and use caution around construction personnel and equipment.
