Dear Editor, The Jerry Ambrose Veterans Council has helped nearly 3,000 veterans since its inception. We continue to aid military veterans and their immediate families. Individual assistance decisions are made based on circumstances. We may provide direct assistance or refer them to our community partners. Decisions are based on a “hand-up” process. We continue to sponsor Veterans Resources Fairs in Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City, and Kingman. Dear Editor, This upcoming election will be one of the most important in my 79-year lifetime and probably yours. Our current federal government is the most dysfunctional government ever. We have legislatures that want a more socialistic government and some leading to Marxism. The problem is do they really know what this could lead to? Dear Editor, The Prescott Veterans Administration needs our help to give needed items to their patients. All must be new, unused items. This list includes the Homeless Veterans Program. If anyone can give cash, the Kingman Elks Lodge #468 at 900 Gates Ave., will have a collection box for cash in the social quarters. The items can be held in the meeting room for Nani Chrimes to pick up to send to Prescott. The Elks office is open Monday through Thursday from 11:30 am. Dear Editor, To those who think Joe Biden is mentally unfit, I would ask. How smart is a president who agrees to give 18 to 19 recorded interviews to a journalist, spill his secrets, and think the information is not going to get released to the public.
