Dear Editor, In a tweet, President Trump instructs Treasury Secretary Mnuchin to stop negotiations on a new stimulus plan with House Speaker Pelosi until after the election. He tweeted “… immediately after I win, we will pass a major Stimulus Bill.” Then, presumably upon realizing the potential damage that plan might possibly inflict on his re-election prospects, (especially since he had just tweeted “Work together to get it done”), while hospitalized, he changed his tune. Dear Editor: The biggest problem with democracy is that an ill-informed and poorly educated electorate can vote their way into tyranny in a single election. That election is upon us. Dear Editor, Honor the memory of people who died in battle to defend American freedoms. Vote. Lives were sacrificed so that America can continue to experience freedom – that includes the freedom to vote! All citizens must vote so as not to trivialize these war dead. Don’t allow yourself to be immobilized by your indecision, indifference, or sense of powerlessness. Vote! Certainly, each woman and man who has died for our freedom deserves no less.
