Dear Editor,
Another writer would have us believe she has an insight into knowing what the future will bring with the Biden/Harris administration. That said she then goes on to display ignorance about the founding of this nation by stating, “the Christian values the country was founded on.” This tells us she has either never read the Treaty of Tripoli, or she chooses to ignore what it states. The logical questions is why would people escape religious tyranny only to institute policy which binds them to one religion? What about freedom to worship faiths such as Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, etc., not to mention freedom from religion.
She continues, “Thank you President Trump for taking on the Swamp” … “We have lost integrity and morals”. Overlooking the obvious lying, admitted adultery which doomed his first marriage and forget about the people he installed in his cesspool, who are not looking through vertical bars, so to speak, plus the uber classy way he is passing the torch to the incoming administration. Ah, yes! Good old Christian values! Pathetic how the rabid right forgives all of it. They do claim to abhor the idea of a woman seeking an abortion, yet most don’t want to wear a mask to protect themselves or others from COVID-19. I have yet to figure out that conundrum.
As for the 2020 election, Republicans suspect foul play. Apparently they think the average American is so inept they would never figure out (who has the most to lose) by garnering the least votes. Certainly not Biden, his life would go on as it had before. Trump on the other hand, who had been taught winning is everything by his father (from Mary Trump’s boo “Too Much and Never Enough”); would forever be a second term loser. We see Trump doing everything he can to overturn the people’s will. Judges throw out lawsuit after lawsuit because of lack of evidence. And Trump keeps inquiring if he can still pardon himself. Why?
I suspect it will likely be an attack on members of the Electoral College as Trump’s future endeavor, since he and Rudy Giuliani are currently coming up empty handed.
What concerns me most is the silence from the elected officials who are afraid to say a word. None of them have the backbone to say, Enough!

Well, consider the ignorance you show, you should read the Bible. Although our constitution allows freedom of religion, the bible was the guide for it when it was written. One Nation under God is all over America. We have a right to worship our God and any other religion is welcome to worship theirs which is why they want to come here. Soon, the Constitution will be re-written to fit all religions and America will cease to exist as it is. Yes, enough. The will of the people was not in this election. Those with the hate you display was the driving force to your opinion and it is truly sad. Have you asked yourself why your hate is so deep that it would drive you to throw away Americas future? The good news is, God will not be erased or mocked and he will never take second place to other religions. I would think about that if I were you.
