Stop the unjust taxes now

Dear Editor, Please don’t think I am against paying taxes, because I’m not. But certain politicians seem to think taxpayers should be overwhelmed with paying tax. If you take the time to look at your bills, they read state, city, and county, in addition to the taxes you pay on food and clothes. Here’s some food for thought: with all the taxes we all pay into, why should we taxpayers have to pay extra? It is unjust to overtax when others are deprived of justice and kept from serving their country, etc. I say, enough is enough! We taxpayers are…

Day of Peace events cancelled

Dear Editor, Life is short. The best we can do, is the best we can do. If we are doing our best, then what more can we expect from ourselves and others? Most people are doing the best they can with the information and abilities they have.   There are some things we can change and some things we can’t. Learning to adjust or adapt with what we have and who we are often takes some time and effort. We are all born some place to someone. Some of us are raised with less than others and some of us are…

Questions continue about vaccines and treatments

Dear Editor, In response to an article by Mr. Gordon Groat, November 16, 2020. The man who heads up Mohave County’s contact tracing and COVID-19 response coordination effort. In the trenches with COVID: One man’s perspective. After almost one year now the medical field has not progressed to help the people.Mr. Groat you said …”Americans should rely more upon the advice of health care professionals.” Why should we American’s rely on educated derelicts? What is unethical and irresponsible is “ listening to the sound of people tapping on the glass, people trying to get your attention” and doing nothing to…
