Dear Editor, Until recently my wife and I paid over $2,000 a month for medical insurance. We each had a $6,000 deductible. One year we both had procedure’s which meant we had $12,000 in out of pocket expenses. There were also some other “uncovered” medical costs throughout the year which resulted in over $40,000 in medical insurance and out of pocket costs. The procedures themselves of course cost far and above what our out of pocket expenses were. Dear Editor, The best investment you can make is in yourself.  You can work, invest, save and accumulate wealth but what good is it if you ignore yourself? A friend of mine once said, “If I had known I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself.”  A sure way to undermine your financial security is to neglect your health. Failing health always results in life insecurity. When your health fails you don’t feel like working. You aren’t able to enjoy life or take care of others. Dear Editor, I agree with Mr. Jack Hommell, “Get out and Vote” in the June 16 edition. Our democracy and America depend upon it! We have to send a strong  message to Washington, D.C. and conservative states which want to suppress voters’ ability to cat ballots, (under the guise of making voting more secure. Never mind there is no evidence of voter fraud to begin with and none to indicate Trump won). We know lies when they arise, so remove politicians who indulge the lies from office by voting for a worthy opponent. Remember, even judges appointed by Trump have…
