Dear Editor, In response to Lloyd Dickson: “Democratic President Joe Biden thinks anyone making over $400K per year should, perhaps, be asked to pitch in and pay a little more.” Sir, what flavor is the Blue KoolAid? Dear Editor, 2 Thessalonians 1: 8-10: “In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power. Dear Editor, After reading Basil Monroe’s letter in the Sept. 29 edition of The Standard titled “This sinful generation pt. 1,” what is abundantly apparent to me is this discussion should be reserved for a church setting. When we consider the numerous flaws in religious dogma, what becomes clearly evident is sin started a long time ago. With the creation of Adam and Eve (who was created from Adam’s rib), the desire to procreate would require an incestuous relationship. Then advance to Noah’s Ark, the 600 ft. ship which supposedly held two of every species on earth for 40 days….
