America First

Dear Editor, An article by Philip Jenkins written in 2017 and is published on the American Conservative website is proof the conservative’s have always been beholding to the communist. The title of this article asks What Was “America First”? In this article it states “Any ideas associated with America First must, by definition, be regarded as anti-Semitic, pro-Nazi, and toxic.” This statement is an insult to every American that loves their country. It is also the reason everyone calling their self’s conservatives and Republicans was and is against President Trump! How can these morons call the support of our Constitutional…

Oleanders are a threat

Dear Editor, Oleanders! Why are they here and being sold at all nurseries? They are 100 percent poisonous and all levels of government and agriculture have known this fact for decades. These days they say nothing and don’t warn the public of the dangers of this plant. When we lived in Phoenix in the ‘80s, there were always news stories of people of all ages suffering from the poisonous properties of this plant (from the roots to the tips). From rashes, blindness, blood poisoning, and death! Why are you promoting this plant? You should be ashamed and fined for promoting…

Fast Track to Turmoil

Dear Editor, A happy and secure life does not mean immediate gratification. We have heard these words before, “I want it all and I want it now.” Wanting the things of life as quickly as possible is natural. Some climb the career ladder quickly achieving epic heights at young ages. Many burn the candle at both ends in order to have the biggest house the finance company will allow. Some want to have a certain number of children by a certain age along with a mega career, housing, cars and all that a segment of society considers successful. However, is…

Does anyone have common sense?

Dear Editor, Well, not the governor of Arizona, Mohave County five districts Board of Supervisors, or Valle Vista seven Board of Directors, four of July committee, or the fire chief or Sheriff’s Office on having fireworks at Mohave County Fairgrounds or in Valle Vista. You would think with a fire alert in Mohave County and 30 fires already burning would have been a hint to not have fireworks this year. Common sense but no luck, even another newspaper had a survey with the majority voting against fireworks this year. The politicians went ahead anyway … dumb, dumb, dumb. It’s all…
