This sinful generation pt. 4

Dear Editor,

2 Thessalonians 1: 8-10: “In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power. When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.”

This is my choice. How about you?

Joel 3: 14 says, “Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision; for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.” We don’t have to be lost with this wicked and adulterous generation, but we can come out of it and serve the Lord Jesus according to Romans 2: 3-4: And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and long-suffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?”

Have you been entertaining these things tonight? Do you see those people out there that are chasing their dreams of sin? You don’t have to be like them, but serve the Lord with all your heart.

Joshua 24: 14-15 says: “Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the Lord. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Guard yourselves and don’t be partakers of the sins of this generation, and come to Jesus Christ to be saved.
