Suspect in firearm threat sought

MOHAVE VALLEY – The Mohave County Sheriff’s office is trying to locate a man who allegedly threatened to kill others and himself during a Tuesday quarrel in Mohave Valley. Deputies responded at 4:30 p.m. to a residence in the 5600 block of Ruby Street. It had been reported that Cameron Anderson, 24, threatened three occupants of the home, saying he would shoot them and himself with a rifle. “Victims reported Anderson was waiving the gun around and also pointing the gun to his chin,” said agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen. Two additional positive COVID-19 at Adult Detention Center

KINGMAN – Two new coronavirus infections are documented among the inmate population at the Mohave County Adult Detention Center in Kingman. Positive Thursday test results for the male inmates prompted their placement in medical isolation cells where they will undergo additional testing during a cautionary 14-day quarantine. One of the inmates traces to the Bullhead City service area and the other the Lake Havasu City service area.
