Bartrow faces prison for punching officer

LAKE HAVASU CITY – A Lake Havasu City man faces possible prison time for smacking a police officer at the local hospital last fall. Christopher Bartrow, 45, pleaded guilty Monday, Jan. 8 to aggravated assault. Deputy Mohave County Attorney Julia Ketchum told the court that officers responded to Havasu Regional Medical Center at 101 Civic Center Ln., after the hospital reported a patient was being belligerent with staff. MOHAVE VALLEY – The Mohave County Sheriff’s office reports the arrest of a Mohave Valley woman in a burglary investigation. 29-year-old Jazmen Hickstein is charged with burglary, theft and trafficking stolen property. Hickstein was arrested following a Jan. 15 warrant-based search of a Mohave Valley home in the 10000 block of S. Queens Rd. The search was follow-up by investigators looking into a break-in last August where another Mohave Valley home was burgled while unoccupied for several months. “Items stolen from the house included the victim’s vehicle, tools, electronics, jewelry and mail,” said sheriff’s office spokeswoman Anita Mortensen. “Several of…
