KINGMAN – A Kingman man has been arrested for firing upon a semi-truck and its driver. Personnel from the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and Arizona Department of Public Safety responded to the incident at about 7:17 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 29. It had been reported that a subject had been shooting a weapon from a motorhome in the parking lot of a business in the 6000 block of E. KINGMAN – Law enforcement authorities are looking for the suspect identified in a Kingman homicide investigation. A female gunshot victim was reportedly dead at the scene after Mohave County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 3100 block of Butler Ave., late Sunday morning, March 3. Detectives were called in to investigate the death of Marie Ann Noelani Garcia, 30. MOHAVE VALLEY – The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office  (MCSO) is investigating a shooting death in Mohave Valley. Deputies responding at 10:53 a.m. Sunday, March 3 located Joshua Carlos Perea, 39, Mohave Valley, dead at the scene at a residence in the 8700 block of Desoto Dr. “The investigation revealed that Perea had been shot by his girlfriend after a verbal and physical domestic violence incident,” said MCSO spokeswoman Anita Mortensen. “Detectives located and collected the handgun and several witness statements to include speaking with the other involved party.” No further details were provided.

BULLHEAD CITY – A Mohave County judge objected to the punishment component when he rejected a plea agreement proposed in a deadly shooting in Bullhead City. There is no dispute that Robert Logan, 40, shot and killed Hans Peterson, 56, after the Bullhead City residents got into a fist fight for unknown reasons outside a laundromat early last March. During the Thursday, Feb. 29 hearing, Judge Billy Sipe said he could not accept the 15-month prison term stipulated in the deal convicting Logan of negligent homicide. KINGMAN – Kingman police report the Tuesday arrest of the second suspect in a Monday bank robbery that resulted in the shooting and hospitalization of the first suspect. The incident began at Mission Bank in the 2400 block of Hualapai Mountain Rd. Police responded to a report of an armed man who fled a bank robbery late in the morning of Monday, Feb. 26. Witnesses indicated the fleeing suspect hopped into a gray truck that was later spotted in the 2500 block of Kingman Ave. off of Andy Dev. Ave., minutes later and more than a mile away from the bank….
