Child porn arrest made in Mohave Valley

MOHAVE VALLEY – A Mohave Valley man faces prosecution after a local law enforcement agency was provided information by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) said it began investigating in early Sept. when notified of a personal email address possessing child sexual abuse material. MCSO spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said follow-up investigation led detectives to visit Aaron Perlin at his place of employment in Lake Havasu City in late Nov. MOHAVE COUNTY – The identity of a homicide victim whose body was recovered north of Bullhead City more than 47 years ago has been determined, according to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO). Agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said hikers located the remains in a shallow grave in an elevated desert are about six miles east of Katherine’s Landing on Nov. 23, 1976. She said it was determined that the buried person was a small statured male in his 30’s who had been shot in the head at close range. FT. MOHAVE – The Mohave County sheriff’s office reports one arrest as well as the seizure of a stolen firearm and drugs stemming from a Dec. 18 search related to a burglary investigation. Spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said 4.5 grams of methamphetamine, 3.1 grams of illegal mushrooms, 30 pills and drug paraphernalia items were confiscated during the search of the Fort Mohave home in the 5400 block of Jack Rabbit Drive. MOHAVE COUNTY – The Kingman Police Department (KPD) is providing additional details of an officer-involved shooting that injured no one and resulted in the arrest of the suspect in Dolan Springs on Wednesday, Dec. 20. Deputy Police Chief Joel Freed said Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) detectives were searching the rural community for Edward Angelo regarding arrest warrants and his alleged involvement in several violent crimes.
