KINGMAN – Kingman police were met with hostility when they responded to a report of an unruly subject early Sunday, April 7. Deputy Police Chief Joel Freed said officers were dispatched at 4:15 a.m. to a business that trespassed a man from the property in the 4000 block of North Stockton Hill Rd. Freed said arriving officers spotted a vagrant later identified as Nathaniel Edsinga in front of another business. “When they attempted to take him into custody he began to actively resist arrest,” Freed said. “Edsinga was able to strike an officer in the nose prior to being restrained.”…

BULLHEAD CITY – Police report a Bullhead City man was highly intoxicated when he attacked his father Monday. Bullhead City police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said the 45-year-old victim was stabbed multiple times in the 300 block of Marina Boulevard. Fromelt said the victim was transported to a local hospital before he was flown to Las Vegas for further treatment at Sunrise Hospital. Dylan Tell, 21, was arrested at the scene of the stabbing. MOHAVE VALLEY – The suspect in a Mohave Valley homicide has been identified and reward money is offered for information leading to his arrest. The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) said authorities are looking for Michael Edward Kelso, 31, Bullhead City, in connection with the March 29 death of Matthew Brant Cemper. Agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said Cemper, 33, Mohave Valley, was dead at the scene after deputies responded to a property in the 10000 block of S. Tropics Rd.
