Traffic stop nets 1.5 pounds of meth

FT. MOHAVE – A speed-related traffic stop resulted in a significant drug seizure in Fort Mohave. Bullhead City Police Public Information Officer Emily Fromelt said that John Baxter, 57, Bullhead City, did not have a valid driver’s license when the vehicle he was operating was pulled over at Highway 95 and Lipan Dr. at about 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20. GOLDEN VALLEY – An apparent arson fire fatality in Golden Valley is under investigation by the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO). Dispatch was advised of the fire in the 3800 block of N. Avra R.,d at approximately 7:03 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18.
