KINGMAN – Questions are many, but answers are few in the matter of a police-gunfire-wounded Kingman man who was not charged for nearly two weeks and was somehow able to exit Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas and make it back to Kingman, only to suffer medical complications to be returned to Sunrise. It is unclear how many hours or days that the wounded man was uncharged and in the wind between hospital admissions and discharges between Kingman and Las Vegas. LHCPD releases names in officer-involved shooting

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Lake Havasu City Police Department has released the name of the Kingman police officer involved in a shooting last month. The agency says Sergeant Kenneth Morris has been with the Kingman Police Department for nine years. Morris is on routine administrative leave and Lake Havasu police are conducting an independent investigation, both of which are normal procedures when officer-involved shootings are under review. BULLHEAD CITY – A teenager who served as the wheel-man in a drive by shooting that critically injured another teen in Bullhead City over the summer will go to adult prison if a judge accepts a proposed plea agreement unveiled Jan. 8 at the Law and Justice Center in Kingman. Angel Salazar, 16, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in a deal dismissing attempted murder, drive-by shooting and discharging a firearm-related charges.
