CRUHSD seeks grant funding

BULLHEAD CITY –The Colorado River Union High School District is applying for a competitive Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center grant, administered by the Arizona Department of Education.   CRUHSD’s application is for Mohave High School.  If awarded the grant, MHS would use the funding to continue after-school and “Flex Friday” programs that offer intervention and enrichment activities to all students.  There would also be classes for parents.  Those programs, available to all parents, would be finalized depending upon the grant awards. BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City Manager Toby Cotter will be appointing a new Chief of Police at a ceremony on Thursday. Acting Captain Robert Trebes will be sworn in as the agency’s newest Police Chief on Thursday, February 25 at 11:30 a.m. in the Bullhead City Council Chambers.
