KINGMAN – Kingman Mayor Jen Miles has been notified that signatures on petitions proposing her recall from office have been validated by the Mohave County Recorder’s Office. Miles said the office has determined that the petitions bear 1,512 valid signatures, 128 more than the minimum number required to qualify the question. KINGMAN– On Sunday, February 28, U.S. Air Force medical personnel arrived in Kingman to provide staffing support to Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC). This support comes at the request of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and as part of the whole-of-government COVID-19 response operations. MOHAVE COUNTY – The County Board of Supervisors unanimously ratified and approved the Intergovernmental Agreement(IGA) between the County and the Arizona Department of Economic Security for the administration of the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP). This will provide financial relief for both Arizona renters and landlords. As of now, landlords and renters in Mohave County are able to apply for the ERAP and can receive up to $3,500 a month in rent and utility assistance. The program expires on December 31.
