KINGMAN – The Kingman Fire Explorer Academy is accepting applications through May 7. The Fire Explorer Academy is a comprehensive program developed in collaboration with Kingman Fire Department, Western Arizona Vocational Education, Kingman Unified School District and Kingman Academy High School.  The goal of the program is to provide training to high school seniors that have a serious interest in working in the Fire Service. Kingman Fire Department will provide the location, instruction and hands on training were Western Arizona Vocational Education will provide the funding associated with supplies, personal protective equipment and certification testing fees.
