Dear Editor, Caring Hearts for Horses Sanctuary and Equine Outreach is relocating one final time. Since their arrival into the non profit sector here in Mohave County, they have been searching for a permanent home in Golden Valley. Thanks to a special Santa this dream has come true. Timpson gets one year for misconduct with daughter

KINGMAN – A Colorado City man convicted of sex offenses involving his own daughter is going to the Arizona Department of Corrections. Samuel Timpson, 44, pleaded guilty to three sexual abuse charges and a single count of attempted sexual conduct with a minor. Authorities said Timpson took advantage of his 15-year-old daughter during the summer of 2016. BULLHEAD CITY – A Palm Desert, California man arrested in Bullhead City for drug offenses has been sentenced to the Arizona Department of Corrections. Mohave County Superior Court Judge Rick Lambert imposed a five-year prison term Friday, Nov. 20 for Hogan Marshall, 29. Deputy county attorney Jim Ferlmann told the Court that police seized 150 Xanax pills from Marshall, following an Aug. 5 traffic stop at 1882 Lakeside Drive. Ferlmann urged Judge Lambert to reject pleas for probation and order a prison sentence because of the defendant’s extensive criminal history. Battle with cops ends in arrest

BULLHEAD CITY –  Bullhead City police had difficulty apprehending a local resident after responding to a domestic violence report in the 1900 block of Clearwater Drive. Daniel Wilson, 40, reportedly fled the residence before officers arrived at 7:15 a.m., Nov. 25. Agency spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said police learned that Wilson had argued with his girlfriend and broke things in their home. Officers located Wilson as he was jumping over several fences in the neighborhood. “He actively resisted police arrest and a taser was deployed.
