Timpson gets one year for misconduct with daughter

KINGMAN – A Colorado City man convicted of sex offenses involving his own daughter is going to the Arizona Department of Corrections. Samuel Timpson, 44, pleaded guilty to three sexual abuse charges and a single count of attempted sexual conduct with a minor.

Authorities said Timpson took advantage of his 15-year-old daughter during the summer of 2016. Judge Doug Camacho imposed a one-year prison term followed by five years’ probation during a Nov. 13 sentencing hearing.
