Moreno back to prison for probation violation

KINGMAN, Ariz. – A New Mexico man who spent a year in jail for sexual relations with a Fort Mohave teenager is heading to the Arizona Department of Corrections for violating probation. Jesus Moreno, 32, pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual conduct with a minor for relations with the girl when she was 14 and 15 years old.

Judge Doug Camacho ordered 365 days in jail followed by three years of probation. He completed the jail sentence but blew probation by using a cellphone when he was prohibited from doing so.

Moreno admitted the probation violation and a two-year prison term has been imposed by Mohave County Superior Court Judge Megan McCoy.
