Katie Hobbs has vowed to bring accountability to a school voucher program that’s expected to top $900 million this year and update laws that allow for the nearly unfettered use of groundwater in rural areas of the drought-stricken state. KINGMAN – Catholic Charities of Arizona has told inquiring city officials that the Route 66 Motel it purchased in Kingman is not for sale. And the organization has indicated it will continue its campaign to renovate the dilapidated property for a transitional housing project operation.
