Dear Editor, The marijuana sellers who wrote Prop 207 had the marketing all figured out. This time, they would give the ballot proposition a respectable sounding name, tweak a couple of details without really limiting their potential market, and spread the word that this recreational marijuana proposition was “Smart and Safe.” Polling indicated their ploy was working. Dear Editor, I used to enjoy the news. Taking into account the week’s happenings, I’m really ashamed of all the negative press and commercials for both candidates. Where have all the good reporters gone? When did they decide to become liars and story tellers instead of telling the truth and inform the people of facts so we could make up our own minds about these candidates? Dear Editor, Halloween is typically a relaxed day for America’s kids to fill their coffers with candy. Children and adults often don their favorite wacky attire for a day of comic relief. America needs a day of some kind of relief and maybe Halloween will provide some insanity or terror relief.
