KINGMAN – A leader in the wood framing industry is setting up shop at the Kingman Airport Industrial Park. Colt Builders has purchased ten acres of undeveloped land from Bulk Industrial to establish a plant to produce prefabricated wood wall panels. A city-issued news release said the company will initially invest $3-million and up to $6 million more during phased in development that could eventually produce 50 new jobs. Mohave Valley drug dealer going to prison

MOHAVE VALLEY – A Mohave Valley woman is going to the Arizona Department of Corrections for selling drugs and probation violations. An eight-year prison term is stipulated in the plea agreement entered Thursday, Nov. 19 for Melissa Lane, 44. Lane was on probation for separate burglary and drug paraphernalia convictions in 2018 and 2019 when she was arrested for drug offenses on Sept. 3. MEADVIEW – The Mohave County Sheriff’s office reports the arrests of two Las Vegas men in a death investigation. Agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said the body of a suspected murder victim was recovered Sunday from a remote desert area near Greg’s Hideout, near Meadview. Mortensen said the man who died of an apparent gunshot wound to the head was identified as Jeffrey Earl Bushaw, 45, Las Vegas.
