Meth Dealer enters Plea

KINGMAN – Possessing 2.5 ounces of methamphetamine will result in a trip to the Arizona Department of Corrections for a Golden Valley resident. Timothy Shaddy, 38, entered a plea agreement on June 4. Prosecutor Jonathon Robinson told the Court that Shaddy was westbound when the vehicle he was driving was stopped on Route 66 just outside Kingman on February 16. He said discovery of a meth pipe in plain view established probable cause to search the vehicle from which 69 grams of meth, baggies, a digital scale and a weapon were confiscated. LHC reminds of political sign-free areas

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City is again reminding political candidates and property owners that political signs must conform to local zoning ordinances. Political signs are allowed on private property and are allowed in all zoning districts, but there are limitations on where they may be placed. Single-day COVID-19 surge sparks concern

MOHAVE COUNTY – A single day surge of 33 news cases last Friday is testament to the fact that COVID-19 is not slowing down in Mohave County. That’s one of the points Department of Public Health Director Denise Burley made during Monday’s Board of Supervisors meeting. “For the last three weeks we’ve seen a pretty steady increase; 30%, then 12% and then a 19% increase in cases from previous weeks,” Burley said. ArtHub opens for art education classes

KINGMAN – As Kingman eases out of the COVID-19 restrictions and stores open up, the Kingman Center for the Arts is easing back into what will be their second 2020 session of art education classes held at the ArtHub in downtown Kingman at the corner of Beale Street and Fourth Street (402 E Beale Sr).
