County Recorder reminds voters of upcoming primary election deadlines

voting voting puzzle

MOHAVE COUNTY, Ariz. — The Mohave County Recorder’s Office, Voter Registration Division, is reminding voters of key deadlines and resources for the upcoming July 21, 2026, Primary Election.

Reminder of Important Dates

• June 22, 2026 – Last day to register to vote or update voter registration information

• June 24, 2026 – Early voting begins; early ballots mailed to voters on the Active Early Voting List (AEVL)

• July 10, 2026 – Last day to request a ballot by mail

• July 17, 2026 – Last day to vote early in person

• July 21, 2026 – Primary Election Day

Sample Ballots and Election Information

The Mohave County Elections Department will mail sample ballots beginning July 6, 2026, to households not on the Active Early Voting List (AEVL).

Voters may access election information online through the Arizona Voter Information Portal at www.my.arizona.vote. Registered party voters may view their party-specific sample ballot through the portal.

Since Arizona conducts partisan primary elections, voters registered as Independent, Party Not Designated (PND), or Other may not have access to a party-specific sample ballot online. To assist these voters, the Recorder’s Office has made available the ballots for the three participating political parties at www.mohave.gov under Elected Officials > Recorder > Voter Registration > Early Voting. The official list of certified write-in candidates is also posted on the Early Voting webpage.

Additional Resources

Nonpartisan voter information, including candidate and ballot measure guides, is available through the Arizona Citizens Clean Elections Commission. Election guides have been mailed and should arrive in mailboxes by June 20.

Voters may also verify registration, update information, locate polling places, and review election notices through the Arizona Voter Information Portal.

The Recorder’s Office encourages voters to review materials early, verify registration, and make a voting plan. Voters receiving early ballots are encouraged to return them promptly by mail or drop box. Early ballots received and verified before Election Day are included in the first results reported on election night.

For questions regarding voter registration, party affiliation, or voting options, contact the Mohave County Recorder’s Office, Voter Registration Division, at (928) 753-0767 or visit www.my.arizona.vote.
