MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College Head Women’s Soccer Coach Cynthia Cervantes has announced the local lineup for the team’s inaugural season in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Bullhead City, Lake Havasu City and Kingman will all be represented on the pitch when the season starts in August 2024. The first-ever Bighorns women’s squad now has signed commitments from Yadhira Robles, Dayanara Barajas and Yazmin Contreras of Mohave High School in Bullhead City; Kadyn Mortenson of Lake Havasu High School; and Daniela Cardenas of Kingman High School. KINGMAN – Mohave Community College’s (MCC) Bighorn Life student club will host Captain Kringle’s Show & Shine on Friday, Dec. 8 starting at 4 p.m. at the MCC parking lot, 1971 Jagerson Ave. Please bring an unwrapped toy or a necessity stocking for KUSD students ages 11 to 17. There will be a Christmas themed car show, hot beverages, free photos with Captain Kringle, and a silent auction on beautifully decorated Christmas trees to help support the MCC Veterans Club. LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Tractor Supply store is inviting all the young artists out there to celebrate the upcoming holiday season with an Ornament Craft activity.   On Nov 18, from 10:00am until 2:00pm, the store will host a craft event where young customers can decorate a Christmas ornament with stickers and other colorful extras, while supplies last.
