LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Tractor Supply store is inviting all the young artists out there to celebrate the upcoming holiday season with an Ornament Craft activity.   On Nov 18, from 10:00am until 2:00pm, the store will host a craft event where young customers can decorate a Christmas ornament with stickers and other colorful extras, while supplies last. Tin Man Charity Golf makes comeback

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Tin Man Charity Golf Tournament is in the game when it comes to giving back to numerous deserving charities. Nonprofit organization American Legion is dedicated to supporting veterans. The group is aiming to show their support to six charities at this yearly event. Registration is $120 per golfer. Signups for the tournament will begin at 6:30am on Saturday, Nov. 18 followed by a shotgun start at 8 a.m. at the Lake Havasu Golf Club.  At the end of the tournament, lunch will be provided at the American Legion Post#81. Local pro-Israel rally ends peacefully

KINGMAN – Kingman police report a pro-Israel support rally concluded peacefully at Locomotive Park Tuesday afternoon. Demonstrators with placards earned horn honks as traffic passed between the Park and the Powerhouse Visitor’s Center in downtown Kingman. About 20 people participated at the start of the rally that began at noon. Deputy Police Chief Joel Freed said the crowd peaked at about 50 people and that there was no sign of pro-Palestinian counter demonstrators in or around the park.

Gem & Mineral Show offered early holiday shopping

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Gem and Mineral Society showcased artistic and creative designs with their annual 53rd Gem and Mineral Show. The two-day event was on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 11 and 12 at the Aquatic Center with more than 40 vendors and plenty of gift selections just in time for the holiday season. The society has a retail store located inside the Lake Havasu Museum of History which is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Fatality on Fed-Ex property a mystery

KINGMAN – A workplace fatality recently occurred at the Kingman Airport Industrial Park, but information is pretty scarce beyond that. The Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) confirms it is investigating the fatality on Fed-Ex property on Tuesday, Nov. 14. OSHA spokesman Trevor Laky said he can provide no information other than it is investigating the incident. Spokesman Anita Mortensen said one or more members of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the airport, but deferred all questions to OSHA.
