Register now for event at Havasu National Wildlife Refuge KINGMAN — Young hunters who want to learn all about waterfowl hunting are invited to attend the annual Pintail Slough Junior Waterfowl Camp, sponsored by the Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD). KPD receives DUI enforcement grant

KINGMAN – The Kingman Police Department (KPD) has been awarded a $20,000 grant from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. The funds will be used to pay for officer’s time and employee related costs for enhanced targeted efforts of DUI and impaired driving enforcement throughout the City of Kingman from October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020. The goal of the Impaired Driving Program is to reduce alcohol and drug related driving fatalities and injuries through enforcement, education, and public awareness throughout the State of Arizona. Navajo Bridge Interpretive Center near Lees Ferry closing December 1

The center will re-open next spring LEES FERRY – On Sunday, December 1, the National Park Service’s Navajo Bridge Interpretive Center near Lees Ferry will close for the season. Until December 1, hours remain 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., 7 days a week (except Thanksgiving, November 28, when it will close for the day). The Navajo Bridge Interpretive Center will re-open next spring.
