KRMC to offer COVID-19 antibody tests to the public

KINGMAN – Beginning Monday, May 11, Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC) will offer antibody tests for SARS-CoV-2― the virus that causes COVID-19. The test can possibly detect if someone had COVID-19 in the past. When someone is infected with COVID-19, their immune system may produce proteins called antibodies to fight the virus. After the person has recovered, an antibody test can usually detect these proteins in their blood.  KRMC Pathologist Dr. Ryan Swapp says the antibody test can help people know if they already had the virus. Suspect sought in stolen vehicle fire

BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City Police are looking for a male suspect who sustained injuries after he drove off in a stolen vehicle that caught on fire. At about 5:50 a.m. on Friday, May 8, Bullhead City Police were called to a vehicle fire in the 1700 block of Mohave Drive.  Through further investigation, it was discovered that two unoccupied homes in the 1900 block of Mohave Drive were burglarized and a victim’s white Ford F-150 pickup truck was stolen. MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (May 8, 2020) Late this afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified this afternoon of 10 new COVID-19 positive cases in Mohave County and three COVID-19 related deaths. Teen charged with underage sexual conduct

LAKE HAVASU CITY – New Year’s morning sex at a hotel in Lake Havasu City brings a criminal charge against the older of the two teenagers involved. Police report that 19-year-old Alexander Currier is charged with sexual conduct with a minor. Police say Currier had sex with a 14-year-old girl.
