Murphy enter plea for meth sales

KINGMAN – A drug dealer from Bullhead City will be going to the Arizona Department of Corrections if a Kingman judge approves a plea agreement entered Thursday. Gregory Murphy, 60, pleaded guilty to possession of dangerous drugs for sale in separate cases. Prosecutor David Wayt said officers seized 14 grams of methamphetamine during a November 2016 search of a Bullhead City home in the 2300 block of Mohave Ridge Avenue. Second positive COVID-19 reported at county jail

KINGMAN – An inmate of the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility tested positive last Thursday for COVID-19. The inmate, currently housed in medical isolation at the jail, will continue to be monitored and provided treatment as may be necessary. LAKE HAVASU CITY – A ten-year prison term was ordered Monday for a Lake Havasu City man who admits downloading child pornography that he viewed for sexual stimulation. Larry Henderson, 28, must also register as a sex offender while serving lifetime probation following his release from the Arizona Department of Corrections. An investigation began last fall when the Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children task force informed Lake Havasu police that someone uploaded at least 23 images of child pornography from Henderson’s home in the 3000 block of whirlwind Lane. BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City Chief of Police Brian Williamson has announced his retirement. Chief Williamson’s last day serving Bullhead City will be September 1. Chief Williamson recently notified City Manager Toby Cotter of his pending retirement, but he has been planning his retirement for many months.
