A Fort Mohave man’s assault of a woman and a California man’s unrelated attack of a detention officer are detailed in a Thursday news release from the Mohave County Sheriff’s office. Agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said deputies responded to a disturbance call at an apartment complex in the 4100 block of S. Lynn Dr., at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.  “Multiple reporting parties advised that neighbors were outside yelling and fighting,” Mortensen said. KINGMAN – A Kingman woman who admits involvement in the theft of almost $90,000 in benefits from the state of Arizona has until September 18 to report to the Mohave County Adult Detention Center. Judge Doug Camacho has ordered that Kimberly Clark, 42, must serve a 90-day jail sentence and three year’s probation. Clark told Camacho she engaged in the fraudulent activity over six years to help support her struggling family, not in pursuit of lavish expenditures. “I didn’t mean to do anything wrong. LAKE HAVASU CITY – A Lake Havasu City man resolved his criminal case in expedited fashion Wednesday, August 19. David Davenport, 41, was sent to prison for five years after entering a plea agreement. The sentence was mandated in the plea deal convicting Davenport of transportation of narcotic drugs for sale. Prosecutor Jacob Cote said authorities confiscated more than nine grams of heroin from Davenport following a February 1 traffic stop on Bahama Drive. -Dave Hawkins
