MOHAVE COUNTY – On Saturday and Sunday June 13 and 14, Mohave County Search and Rescue coordinators prepared and instructed a 16-hour Arizona Search & Rescue (SAR) Basic Academy for new members with Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue and the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue. Prison ordered in cyber-sex blackmail case

MOHAVE VALLEY – A Mohave Valley teenager is going to the Arizona Department of Corrections for hacking computers and blackmailing girls and young women to provide him sexually explicit images and videos. The 15-year prison term was the maximum punishment possible under terms of a plea agreement entered for Cameron Brush, 18. Brush pleaded guilty in April to two counts of computer tampering and three counts each of sexual extortion, sexual exploitation of a minor and attempted sexual exploitation of a minor. Couple accused of fraudulently obtaining some $90,000 in food stamps

KINGMAN – A Kingman couple is accused of engaging in fraud to steal almost $90,000 in food stamps from the State of Arizona. The Arizona Attorney General’s office named Kimberly Clark, 42, and Brian Clark, 47, in a lengthy indictment that alleges theft of $89,577.96 over a six-year period ending in early 2018. Mrs. Clark recently pled guilty to attempted fraud and theft charges. She faces 90 days in jail and up to three years of probation when sentenced by Mohave County Superior Court Judge Doug Camacho on August 11. Vogt charged in weapons offense, endangerment

KINGMAN – Robert John Vogt Jr., 44 of Golden Valley, was arrested and charged with multiple felonies on Sunday, June 14 for his alleged role in a shooting. According to a Mohave County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, deputies responded to the area of Bank St. and Jagerson Ave. for a reported weapons offense, and were advised that Vogt had shot two rounds into his brother’s vehicle that he had collided with. Havasu mom takes plea in baby’s death

KINGMAN – It took a half dozen tries, but a Lake Havasu City woman charged in the death of her toddler daughter has finally entered a plea agreement. Brittany Rodriquez, 27, pleaded guilty Wednesday (June 17) after balking at change of plea hearings conducted on March 19 and June 10. Judge Billy Sipe noted that no fewer than six change of plea hearings had been scheduled on Rodriquez’ behalf while her case has been pending.
