KINGMAN, Ariz. – A Golden Valley man awaits a prison sentence after a Mohave County Superior Court jury returned mixed verdicts in his sex offense trial.

The panel deliberated about 3.5-hours before finding Casey Schneider guilty of one sexual assault charge on Aug. 27. The jury acquitted Schneider of two other sexual assault counts.

The conviction involves a Sept. 2023 incident at a residence in the 4900 block of N. Laguna Road in Golden Valley. The 36-year-old victim testified that Schneider carried her from a couch and into a bedroom, where he sexually assaulted her.

Schneider faces at least 5.25-years in prison when sentenced on Sept. 28 by Judge Megan McCoy.
