DOLAN SPRINGS – Charges are dismissed in the criminal case against the former chief of a Dolan Springs-based fire district who was arrested last month after an argument with his wife and a fight with her teenage son. Deputy Mohave County Attorney Phillip Delgado said alleged victims did not wish Timothy Bonnee to be prosecuted. Charges against Bonnee were formally dismissed during a May 19 hearing in Kingman Justice Court. “We believe it’s in the best interest of justice not to pursue the case,” Delgado said a few days after dismissing charges. KINGMAN – A Kingman man fled on foot after crashing his vehicle into a fence along the Beale Street exit from Stockton Hill Road Wednesday. The incident before 8:00 a.m. was highly visible to those who commute to work in the downtown area. Police Chief Rusty Cooper said Matthew Clawson was bleeding when officers located and apprehended him just a few blocks from the accident. He was booked into jail for driving on a suspended license and leaving the scene of an injury accident. Dave Hawkins
