KINGMAN – A contentious defendant nearly derailed his own plea agreement during a Nov. 1 hearing at the Mohave County Law and Justice Center.

BULLHEAD CITY – A Nov. 1 traffic stop for speeding resulted in a significant drug seizure in Bullhead City. Officers initially found some drug paraphernalia and a 9 mm handgun after the   vehicle was pulled over at 2:00 a.m., according to Bullhead City police Department public information officer Emily Fromelt.

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Police Chief Troy Stirling has an election day date with attorneys handling the case of a former Lake Havasu City police detective charged with crimes involving the department’s evidence room and theft of funds earmarked for undercover investigations.

KINGMAN – A Golden Valley teenager offered apology at his Oct. 28 sentencing hearing for failing to remain at the scene after the vehicle he was operating struck and killed a pedestrian.

BULLHEAD CITY – A local resident self-surrendered at the Bullhead City Police Department Tuesday after suspect images were posted as part of an altercation-related criminal investigation.

DOLAN SPRINGS – One man was wounded and another arrested after a property related dispute ended in gunfire in Dolan Springs.
