YADAH hosts Hobbies Not Habits event for local youth

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Young Adult Development Program (YADAH) of Lake Havasu is making sure that youths of Havasu develop positive and healthy hobbies. It’s an early intervention program that could prevent unhealthy habits such as substance addictions.   YADAH was formed for the children of the community and has helped them have promising futures. The organization hosts events where children can thrive like their Hobbies Not Habits annual function. The drug prevention event began four years ago.   The beginning of the events was a challenge for the nonprofit team however, over the years, community interest has grown, and YADAH hopes to continue their…

LAUGHLIN, Nev. – Last weekend at Avi Casino, local car club The River Cruizers hosted their 24th annual charity Classic Car and Bike show and scored a major hit as well as returning to their annual home to raise funds for school scholarships for local graduating students as they have for years. Pavement work on SR 66 in Peach Springs scheduled through May 10

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for brief traffic delays for pavement work along a 34-mile section of State Route 66 north of Kingman in Peach Springs. Work started today (Monday, April 22) and will continue weekdays from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday, May 10:  ADOT advises drivers to be prepared to come to a complete stop when approaching and driving through the work zone while crews apply a pavement sealant.
