Bullhead City services modified due to COVID-19 concerns

BULLHEAD CITY – Based on discussions with the Mohave County Public Health Department and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the State of Arizona, the City of Bullhead City is modifying a number of City services due to the nationwide Covid-19 emergency: 1.      The Bullhead City Senior Center and all of its associated activities have been cancelled until further notice. 2.      The Bullhead City Nutrition Center will be modifying food delivery services. Extreme localized weather leads to separate outages

BULLHEAD CITY – Late afternoon weather resulted in two outages impacting Mohave Electric Cooperative members in the Bullhead City and Kingman service areas on Thursday, March 12. An extreme storm and lightning resulted in 1,414 members losing power for nine minutes beginning at 5:57 p.m. in north Bullhead City and 2,489 members east of Kingman ranging from the Hualapai mountains through Valle Vista, Truxton, and Valentine to parts of Peach Springs. Kino Avenue closures extended due to weather

KINGMAN – Due to recent and expected rains, the Kino Avenue closure will continue through Wednesday, March 18, at the minimum. The street closure is at Willow Road and Kino Ave., and extends to North Glen Rd. Detours are still in place for street closures. This project is the continuation of a multi-phased project to improve water delivery to city water storage tanks that will allow our infrastructure run more efficiently, resulting in an overall benefit to our customers.
